CONFIRMATION OF DATES OF THE PERIOD OF EXERCISE OF PUBLIC RIGHTS
Halebank Parish Council hereby advise the electorate of a 30-working day period during which your public rights may be exercised. The local Audit and Accountability Act 2014 as summarised in the Accounts and Audit (England) regulations 2015 (Statutory Instruments No 234)and the Code of Audit Practice require that:
Each year the Council's Annual Return is audited by an auditor appointed by Public Sector Audit Appointments Limited. Any person interested has the right to inspect and make copies of the accounts to be audited and all books, deeds, contracts, bills, voucher and receipts relating to them. There is a charge made for copies. Any such inspection will need to work within the health guidelines in existence at the time.
For the year ending 31 March 2025, these documents will be available on reasonable notice at an agreed location (on a working day within the hours of (10am – 2pm) on application to:
